Situated in a delightful position, the Sovestro Hotel is just 2 kilometres from the towers of the historic town of San Gimignano. The hotel stretches horizontally across a vast park of pines trees, coasted by vineyards, olive trees and luxuriant Tuscan as well as Mediterranean vegetation.

Clean and nice hotel. There is only the hotel restaurant nearby, for any other places you need to walk about 2kms. The onsite restaurant Da Pode was quite a good experience, but you should note that it seems to be closed on Mondays and only opens at 7PM so there is no place to get lunch or snacks and no pool bar either. Quite nice 3-star hotel, but not very cheap one.

It's a pity the hotel is located near a rather busy road.

The hotel maintains a clean environment however the extensive gardens were a little less cared for and were somewhat overgrown. This made no impact on our stay which we enjoyed immensly. Staff, while aloof, offered assistance if required.

Great location, fantastic hotel, lovely and clean. Breakfast was good for European standards. Would definitely stay there again.
