Suwon Climate

Visitors will want to watch out for the East Asian monsoon season from early June to the end of July. Summers are hot and humid with an abundance of rain; the warmer-month temperatures average around 85°F (29°C). Winters in the city are cold during the months of November through February, average winter temperatures are 35°F (1°C) and snow is a regular occurrence.

Getting There & Around

With its close proximity to Seoul, Suwon is easy to reach by way of Gimpo International Airport. Visitors will find their way to the city via numerous types of ground transportation like commuter trains, buses and cars.

There is a subway stop in the city, so travel between Seoul and Suwon is quick and regular. Buses, walking and cycling about the city are options as well.
