Pilanesberg International Airport, also known as Rustenburg Airfield, near Sun City is the closest airport to the city. Travellers can also travel by car, taking the N4 West toll road from Pretoria. Intercape buses stop here on a daily basis en route to Pretoria and Gaborone, Botswana.
