Hermanus Climate
This coastal area enjoys a mild climate with a dry, sunny summer kept cool by sea breezes. Early autumn in Hermanus is marked by mists in the late afternoon, known as the “champagne air”. The winter months are considered the rainy season, but temperatures remain mild and the clouds often dissipate to give way to sunny days.
Getting There & Around
Situated on the Garden Route, the most popular way of travelling to Hermanus is by driving. Good roads and stunning scenery make this a great way to travel. To get to Hermanus by bus is easy enough, although there is little public transport around the town itself. Cape Town International Airport is the nearest major airport about 120km away.
