Once just a quiet farming village, Hazyview in South Africa has become quite an attractive destination, particularly if you are going on safari. This is beautiful country that shows off the best of South Africa. There are many hotels and bed-and-breakfast pensions with fun names, such as Ant and Elephant or Hippo Hollow. Hazyview’s African Safari Adventures offers day-trip safaris where you are out in the field watching the wildlife. If you prefer your wildlife more contained, Perry’s Bridge Reptile Park features snakes, lizards and crocodiles in natural-looking settings. At Elephant Sanctuary, you can view elephants in their natural habitat, whilst at Elephant Whispers, you can get close to the elephants and even get an elephant ride.
Skyway Trails is sure to get your heart racing as you spend your time jumping from one platform to another. Hazyview is also close to Kruger National Park, one of the biggest game reserves in Africa. Blyde River Canyon offers spectacular scenery and waterfalls.
If you are famished, sample the cuisine at Pioneer’s Butcher and Grill, which serves some great steaks. Get a great panoramic perspective of Hazyview in a balloon ride with Balloons Over Africa.
