The location of the hotel is very convenient with only a <10 min walk or short bus to the main train station and old town. It is located in close to the university and the surroundings are very nice. The rooms have all recently been refurbished and the breakfast room is just about to re-open (early Aug 2011). Highly recommended.

10 minute walk from central area and main station with plenty of shops etc around. Room was qite large and bed very comfortable with crisp clean sheets. Good breakfast. Only downside, some noise frm other guests on one night and traffic noise sarts early in the morning but I think this depends on which room you get.

This was a bit out of the way for us as we were only over-nighting in Berne. It is a 5 minute (15 euro) taxi ride or you can catch the bus which is only three (?) stops away. Breakfast was average. Room was roomy. The only problem was that we asked for a double room, got a twin room, but that was soon rectified by a phone call to reception.
