Located just 2 kilometres from El Calafate, the Solares Del Sur is very close to the Argentino Lake and the Redonda Bay. The Los Glaciares National Park, Perito Moreno Glacier as well as the Walichu Caves are the major attractions in Calafate.

It's a good place but is a little far from the center to walk to it.

excellent wood cabins, very homely and clean. Sergio and his wife were friendly and helpful. Good spot for the trips to the glaciers. would highly recommend it - 20 min walk into town but we liked that. Unfortunately when we visited it was August and just before the season so the restaurant was closed. Taxis into town only about 60p - can't go wrong!

Bar & Restaurant very good. Very friendly staff helpful with special requirements. Small bathroom/toilet compare with the huge room. No safe box. Breakfasts are OK.
