We arrived early in the morning and the courtesy bus picked us up immediately. We did not have to wait to get into our room and there was a good breakfast in the restaurant. Air con. was not heating on this unusually cold day and it was repaired in minutes. Room was spacious and comfortable and we were taken by shuttle to the port to begin our cruise. Only downside to this hotel is that it is so far from any shops or restaurants. Perfect for anyone going on a cruise.

The staff was very friendly, the lobby beautiful, room excellent, we had a great time.

Overall it was a decent stay. The staff was very accommodating, very knowledgeable, and overall very friendly. The room was ok, I got a Junior Suite, and while it was clean, I did expect more from a 4 star hotel. The food was good. I had the best Salmon Pizza ever! Will be making that at home. But overall I was just expecting more from a 4 star European based hotel. Wasn't impressed.

The hotel in and of itself was very nice - but there was an extra charge for EVERYTHING (or so it seemed). There was a charge for parking, a charge for the WiFi, the restaurant in the hotel was also over priced (~$20 for a breakfast buffet; $8 for a scoop of ice cream). There is a Starbucks in the lobby - but even that was MUCH higher than the one at home ($11 for a tall latte + fruit/yogurt/granola parfait). Hotels that are considered to be 'lower class' do not charge for parking or WiFi. There are other places to eat - about a mile away. Thankfully, we had a car and the parking allows in & out privileges. You need to exit the hotel to use the work-out facility - and we had to go through a private party on the patio to get to the work-out room. If you are here for only 1 night and without a car, it is an OK value - but they will 'get you' for the food. Lower rating due to all the items that required an extra fee.
