Very good hotel with great facilities. Unfortunately, it's located at one end of the town. If you happen to stay in Bangkok for 4 to 5 days , you'll have to spend extra 1000 THB (approximately $30), to go to the city and come back on all five days by taxi. Altogether, we ended up going to the city three times and had to spend about 500-600 THB, which was not so bad, in the end. The upside is Chatuchak market, which is 5 min from the hotel and has a free shuttle service from the hotel. There is about 5000 shops in that market, if you're in the mood to bargain and buy. All in all, a pleasant stay with very good staff.

This hotel (I belive) was an old Hyatt but is showing it's age. Some rooms have been re-done but not all. Location is good for Chatachuk market and the Thai Airways headquarters (which I had to visit) but not for much else. The mall next door is OK but only has low end, fast food eateries. The hotel breakfast is average.

A large, older hotel with large rooms but in need of some refurbishment. It is close to a useful mall and Chatuchak market but otherwise a little remote. The staff are helpful but the breakfast is average.

Metro station is close to the hotel but need to pass through shopping mall. Water is not so clean, smells iron.

Water in bathroom was truly muddy. Overall ho-hum condition of rooms and hotel (lobby is a very nice exception). Considering the not ideal location and price, one can do much better closer to business/ tourist areas. Good breakfast, pleasant but basic service.
