Lovely staff, always smiling. However found that prices where extortionate for food and drinks a fruit smoothie for the kids $14 and $16 is pricey for fruit smoothies when most of the fruit comes locally. But I guess if you stay at any hotels and buy from them you will always pay a premium. Would stay there again as it was nice to be by the beach.

This is a resort type hostel. Stayed in one of the big dorms and it was very cheap and great value for money.

If you are looking for a budget hotel, then smugglers cove is the one for you. The price is very reasonable and breakfast is included in it as well !!Pick up from the airport is included as well...the hotel staff are great , friendly and helpful..their restaurant Ghost Ship Bar and Grill serves great food and the ambiance is great as the resort is on the beach.. Now to the bad points .. the rooms are a let down .. me and my husband had booked an ocean view deluxe room..we were given a room in the old wing as the rooms in the new wing were all full(im hoping those rooms are better )... the rooms in the old wing are pretty small(luckily we had just one big suitcase) and look really, really old.. the bed linen looked like as if they have been used for a 100 years!! one of the lights wasn't working and the room looked pretty dark in the night even with all the remaining lights on...the rooms really need renovation and upgrading ! the beach the resort is situated on is not great either.. that said on the whole the stay was quite pleasant .. we were out on tours most of the time but If you are looking to relaxing and spending a lot of time in the rooms then this is not the place for you..

Smugglers Cove is right on Nadi Bay beach. There is a restaurant serving reasonably priced meals with a good menu selection and a cafe that does breakfast and snacks. They also do room service meals which we found were really quick and great when we were all tired. Widely known as a backpacker place, we've found it a great family place too. Family rooms have own ensuite and the furnishing is to a good standard. My children don't sleep in bunk beds at home so they enjoyed these. Security is excellent. There are in-room safes which many pricier establishments don't have. Great internet facilities and tour desk. 10 minute taxi ride to airport. Staff really helpful and friendly.

Smugglers was excellent value for the price, we stayed in the hotel part, not the backpackers. Our room was right above the bar so even though we had a great view through the day, we had to put up with the noise at night. There isnt much in the immediate area so you need to taxi into town or to Denarau Marina, but costs next to nothing anyhow. Don't really recommend the restaurant for meals, though their pizza was good.

We enjoyed our stay at smuggglers & l would stay there over night again if l return to Fiji, the meals were o.k & the only gripe l had about the place was the entertainment area was directly below where our room was & it was quite noisy.

The food at Smugglers was terrible and over-priced. The kitchen service was extremely slow, and the kitchen/restaurant staff were quite unproffesional. There was no hot water in the room, and they also added on extra surcharges for house-keeping that was not mentioned beforehand, even for the most expensive rooms. The staff in general had no idea what they were doing and were very unhelpful, except for Ase at the tours desk, who was a pleasure to speak with and provided helpful information.

Nice clean hotel right on the beach of Nadi Bay Fiji, located behind the Nadi International Airport. Nice friendly & helpful staff. About 20min from Nadi Town and 35min from Denerau Island (where the Hard Rock Cafe is) will definately visit again. Also is about 45min from Lautoka the next major town not as expensive as Nadi and is also not far from Fiji's First Village.

This was the first time I stayed at the Smugglers. I was a little disappointed with the view from my "Deluxe Oceanview Room". I expected a slightly better view but all Deluxe Oceanview room are on the side of the building with some view of the ocean. Despite this, I enjoyed my short stay and will definitely go back. Very good location.
