The hotel lobby and function rooms were very nice. The room that I booked was supposed to be a superior deluxe double room when infact it was anything but. The room was clean, had all the basics but in no way was it a deluxe room. It was average at best. The breakfast was very nice but I thought it was a bit over the top to be charged €15 to have it delivered to my room. Overall a disappointing experience.

We enjoyed our short stay at the Slieve Russell, only sorry we could not stay longer.

The Slieve Russell Hotel Golf & Country Club is situated in a lovely part of upper county Donegal. Surrounded by beautiful scenery and quaint villages. Easy to reach, just off the main N3 road.
