Slavia Hotel Prague Guest Reviews
OK location - 20 minutes by tram to the centre. k rooms with all you need in there. The only problem is that it was very noisy in the night because there are a lot of teenagers staying in the hotel and obviously the night silence rule do not obey for that hotel. Another problem for me was that if was too hot during the night since I needed to close the windows because of the noise :). I recommend the hotel for all who want a budget trip to Prague and don't mind not being in the centre.

good value for money

Hotel located in a quiet but not attractive outskirt of the city though with very easy and convenient access to the downtown with a streetcar terminal nearby. Average cleanliness and services, simple but still reasonable breakfast. Bedding never changed through the entire stay. Shabby and very uncomfortable beds. Unidentified insects biting during the nights, leaving itching red spots on skin. In the mornings the lobby crowded by heavily smoking guests making passing through the smelly and dense smoke-cloud a challenge. An average 2-star hotel good for a few-night stay for which the price was excellent.

The hotel is situated far from the city center, but has very good connections by public transport. In 20 minutes the downtown may be reached by tram. The tram service is very good in Prague. The hotel is renovated in part, so I suggest to book only renovated rooms, because others are in quite bad condition. These rooms cost a little bit more, but it is not a big difference in a price level. Breakfast is included in the price. You may get tea or coffee, sliced cheese, 2 type of ham and salami. There are also jam, yoghurt and corn flakes beeing served. Anyway it is good value for money and I definetly can recommend Slavia Hotel as a cheap but good solution.
