Average, "no frills" place for a good price. Able to walk to everything.

When looking for a quiet (last minute) get-away for the weekend with a couple of friends, most things were booked, and we landed on the Skyline Holiday Apartments out of desperation. Noteing that they were 3*, and unbelievably great price, we prepared for a motel-style, musty smelling holiday (but determined to be relaxing nevertheless). Must to our delight, the apartment we rented was spacious, with a relatively new kitchen. All rooms (although showing signs of ageing) were exceptionally clean, smelling clean and fresh. I would say even cleaner than a number of 4.5* hotels we have stayed at. We found all the utensils needed to feed ourselves, and a good sized fridge. The manager/s were flexible and friendly, and the location was great. Just a short walk to the beach, and centre of Coolangatta. It's somewhere you could live in, not just holiday. Well done. We will definately be back!! One of our best, and most relaxing holidays yet.
