I have never had to written a bad review but I thought that I needed to and wanted to make sure that anyone that is considering staying at this hotel would know what they were getting into. When I booked our hotel stay, I wanted a special getaway/retreat for my partner and I to unwind. We both as busy people which makes it very hard to get away. I was very excited for our weekend but was very disappointed when we arrived to the hotel. The photos on their website were very misleading. The photos of the rooms looked nice on their website but in reality they were not very nice. In the photos it this hotel appears to be a nice modern hotel, but in reality lots of cheap furniture, poor design, dirty and smelly. The hotel hallways and our room did not smell very good at all. It actually smelled like an old gym locker room. The carpets in the hallway, etc looked like it had not been vaccumed since the hotel was opened. When we took the elevator to get to our room, I thought that we may of mistakenly taken the frieght elevator as it was dirty, small and poorly lit. It was very hard for us to fit our bags, my partner and I and our dog in the elevator. But it was the only elevator in the hotel. The hotel was very expensive. We payed over $300.00 for one night during the off season in Aspen. For the price we payed we could of stayed at one of the exclusive hotels in Aspen. I was so disappointed with the hotel that I could not even enjoy myself.

Very nice hotel, very well located, everything is at walking distance, very helpful personnel (front desk, bellmen, bar, etc.). Highly recommended. R.
