Located just next to a volcanic mud pool, I can see steam rising and boiling mud from my room, very nice view. Ample parking space and a short drive to town area, abt 5 minutes. Staffs are very firendly and helpful, you can't ask for more.

We got a fantastic price but was overall disappointed. The unit was clean which was great but we didn't enjoy hearing the man in the next unit snore all night! Our room also had ventian blinds which meant the light outside our unit shone through all night. So it was a rather long night.

Although the hotel is a bit old, but the staff are very friendly and helpful. view is awesome. with this price, no complaint at all.

This hotel reminds me of an owner/manager who has had it so good in the past (perhaps because of the position) that now they don't have to try at all. From the receptionist to the girls in the breakfast room, their jobs respectively are an effort and they don't enjoy being interrupted. Forget the proximity to the geysers and mud pools, there are better options for the money nearby. Avoid !

I was somewhat hesitant to book after reading some of the previous comments posted. But we found breakfast fresh and excellent. Our room on level 3 had a panoramic view of the active thermal area. We were very satisfied with our three day sojourn there. Definitely great for the tarriff.
