Silka West Kowloon Hotel

I enjoyed my stay with a clean and neat room, the staff are able to communicate well English and very helpful especially Terence. The only set back is the location is a distance to MRT station, its considered as far, for a 10-15 min walk with heavy traffic along the way. Eventhough the hotel do provide drop off shuttle hourly until 10pm, to most major areas, I still feel that the distance is just too far to walk.

Dorsett Kowloon is a decent place where u get lots of shopping, food, and its actually quite near MOngKOk Mtr, 10mins away>. ;) well... Hotel rooms are really small, the toilets too. but i like the bay window, i could sit there with coffee and the view is beautiful. yup.. i stayed at lvl14.. not bad. i love it, for my 4days stayed... it's cheap, service is good, locations is good.. yup.. and i would go back...~!!

The size of the room should be enlarged. because the space available to walk is kinda small. Variety of rooms should be provided. as there is only standard rooms available in the hotel. no larger room than standard room

There is a medium size shopping mall with a supermarket, plus many small eating places, nearby. The nearest Olympic MTR station is about 10 minutes walk away.

This hotel location is around 15min.walking distance to the busiest night markets in Mongkok,Yaumati,Nathan Road..which you will have varieties of tasty foods & night shopping.the hotel rate is worth that our money. No doubts the hotel bedroom & bathroom are small is within my expectation but is comfortable for 2 persons stay.I will like to recommend friends to stay in this hotel during their future visit to Kowloon,Hongkong because this is my 12th visit to Kowloon,Hongkong and will come back again.

Dorsett Kowloon is good for its price. Small rooms. It is very near the Mongkok shopping area and provides hourly shuttle to Dorsett Seaview, Mongkok and Airport Express Train Station. It was just bad that we were given a smoking room because apparently there was no non-smoking room available on the first night of our stay. The curtains are old and seems dirty.

I was actually surprised at the facilities afforded by this hotel for such a low budget. It was complete with the amenities that you find in other hotels for a much higher price. Though the rooms were small, it's enough to provide the needed comfort by a traveller/tourist. My family got 2 rooms and stayed for 3 nights. Our stay was pleasant and restfull. The staff were courteous, helpful and immediately attend to our needs. The location was a few minutes walk to the MTR and near Mongkok night market. It's a train away from Disney and to the Ngong Ping cable car by the MTR Tung Chung line. We will definitely come back to stay in this hotel.

The hotel is fairly priced as compared to other available hotels that i have surveyed. It is also very convenient for us as the hotel provides free shuttle bus service to Mongkok area and also to the airport train station. The staffs were also helpful to us when we asked to change our rooms. It was my second time there and i still like it a lot as it is very clean and still look brand new. Good take i would say

Very good price-quality rate. The only two minuses are firstly sound proofing to the corridors, it's almost non-existent (between rooms it's ok), and secondly the matresses are hard (it's ok if you like them, i don't). But still, a good choice for a budget-minded traveller.

A reasonably priced hotel for the business traveller. Location is far from ideal but handy for most transport links. Lobby and coffee shop are quite modern and attractive but the rooms require some refurbishment. Facilities are basic but could do with an upgrade in finishing. Bathroom barely big enough to fit a meduiun sized male, but could be a tight fit for anyone on the large size. Overall, a modest 2-3 star hotel for a short stay.

Feeder bus services provided by the hotel should be informed to the guest during check in, so that that services provided can be fully utilized.

I like the hotel very much. It is easy to find and very near to the MTR (a 5 min walk to Olympics MTR). All the staff working there (from the desk staff to Cafe staff to the cleaner) are very polite and helpful. Pricing is reasonable for the location but facilities is limited.

An excellent hotel ------- comfortable, quiet and clean. Have already recommended it to others. Friendly, helpful staff. Lots of granite, tile and brass in the lobby. About 30-40 minutes by taxi to the airport.

Rooms are neat and clean, though I requested for a Smoking room, there's not much smell linger around. Toilet very small but I think all hotels in HKG are like that. At least I can accept it comfortably. l still will choose to go back to this hotel for my next Hong Kong trip, and recommend to all friends. Staff are helpful but not friendly (except the Conceige Mr. Andrew and the young chap Mr. Kenneth ~ they are both helpful and friendly). Its only 5mins to Olympic Station (turn right from the hotel and walk towards HSBC Bldg) and 15 mins walk from Mong Kok station (turn left from the hotel and walk all the way down from Argyle Rd/Cherry Rd). There's bus interchange below HSBC bldg, travellers who like to take buses have to know which are the buses that travels there. Hotel to Airport Transfer cost HKG 90/pax and need to book 2-hours in advance (My flight is 2015hrs but I have to leave the hotel at 1700hrs ~ cos they will be picking up guests from other hotels).
