Sigiriya Village Hotel Guest Reviews
The restaurant and food was good. We had originally booked into a standard room and discovered that it was twin beds. We asked for a double and were informed that this was only available in the superior room. However, after a few phone calls we were upgraded to the superior room at no additional cost. BE AWARE - THE STANDARD ROOMS ARE ONLY TWIN SHARE. Other than that the resort was very quaint - and the only other issue we had was that the rooms are connected and the next door neighbour had his television very loud - clearly audible through the connecting door. Luckily, a small chat to him resolved the matterand we did not need to involve the staff. Roger Australia

This is a fantastic hotel. The food is amazing and the staff are brilliant. The perfect place to go and relax surrounded by nature.

Brilliant Hotel to stay in. Out of the way but very peaceful, in a blissful setting. Staff are superb and very attentive. Could not fault the service and attention received from all members of staff from the very top to the bottom. Will definately go there again. This is my second stay at Sigiriya Village and am already planning a third trip. The Hotel deserves a higher rating than 3 star.

Walking distance to the rock. Watch out for the resident monkeys - they like to take your fruit! (harmless though).
