Shore Hotel Santa Monica Guest Reviews
This hotel is brand new. Situated right on the shore, and one block away from the 3rd street shopping area, it is in the perfect location. We got a room with ocean view, which was really a partial view of the ocean, and part of the pool. Good enough. The pool is heated, and we used it even it was the middle of December, and enjoyed it. Parking is extra. ($30). Rooms are spacious. We got a two queen bed, and there was a lot space. Bathrooms were very modern. Overall it was an good experience. While not cheap, it was worth it.

Shore Hotel is at the top of my list of luxury hotels I've stayed in all over the world. Located across the street from the beach on Ocean Avenue, this hip boutique hotel provides breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean and Santa Monica Pier, while within walking distance of several restaurants, Santa Monica Place Shopping Center and Third Street Promenade. The staff was more than welcoming and accommodating when I arrived for check-in - quick, friendly and helpful. Jim from Ohio was a stand-out staff member to me, providing customer service that went above and beyond the call of duty and my expectations. The "Green" environment is an excellent principle of the hotel, showing me that The Shore not only cares about their guests, but their effect on the world. I expect the Shore Hotel to be THE destination in Santa Monica in the very near future.
