For Me, this was the best hotel i have ever stayed at, having been also to the Shinjuku Washington (also very good) i prefer d here at Shinjuku Apartment, Well situated very close to the station, nice bedroom with a balcony, and also a very nice friendly owner, i really did enjoy this experience and i am defiantly coming back here on my next trip to Japan! 20/20

Other hotels within the area provides better service, quality and cleanliness at the same price or lower. Regret going to this place

The apartment was in a terrible condition. -My friends sheets were dirty -the kitchen had grease stains all over -warm water was not always available -the owner came to wash laundry almost daily -some random construction material was stored in the apartment at one time. Location was quite nice I still could not recommend this place to anybody Sorry,

Wild experience... you dont know into wich appartment youre being located by owner. Ours was at Bentencho, cold house and cold room ( ice kept frozen over the night, atleast you dont need to use the fridge ;D ). There was already some postgrad student living in the same house. Kitchen was a mess, dont really want to tell you about the shower ( we went to spa rather than getting more nightmares ) and toilet, youll have to experience it by yourself ;D. Location was 10mins walk from Kagurazaka metro station. Owner had a really sarcastic taste of humor by bragging about a japanese garden view from the room, like at a resort my a**. Dont stay here unless the weather is like inferno at nights.

The host is nice, and its fairly cheap accomodation for tokyo. But its location isnt the best if your using jr lines, you will need to walk 5 min, and pay 180 yen to get to shinjuku station on a local line. You also have no idea who you will be sharing with, and living in such close quarters with. There was a bunch of shops nearby which is handy tho.
