This location is right downtown and close to facilities of interest. Unfortunately the complimentary shuttle was not working, but the hotel provided alternate options.

The Good: Close to downtown and easy to find. Ample parking. The desk staff are friendly and helpful. Free wireless internet is available, although this appear to be the standard at most hotels. I thought that the cleaning of my room was very good, on par with higher end hotels. The Average: The hotel restaurant/bar is only average. Room service was unavailable, however this may have been due to the holiday weekend. The Bad: There is no bathtub, just a depression in the bathroom tile where water drains to, meaning that water can leak onto other parts of the bathroom.

Internet connection didn't work , toilet ran all the time. Windows so dirty you could not see the view . Great down town location

I really enjoyed the hotel. The building is beautiful right in downtown and there is no shortage of attractions nearby, especially the Temple Square and Conference Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (mormons). The only problems that we found was that the mattress and pillows were very firm and both my wife and I had hurt backs the next day. The food is good but it is given through the cafe in the lobby and what you get complementary is a small quantity. I was hungry until I ate some more elsewhere.

If you go not expecting much, then you will be satisfied. The location is near all other downtown hotels and directly in front of the Salt Palace. The front desk was inexperienced but helpful. The shuttle drivers displayed poor customer service. I would stay there again due to the price and location.
