When we arrived, there was a line 25metres long to check in it took 20mins to get to the desk. When we finally got to our room the safe did not work . We contacted staff immediately, finally on the "fourth" day after four complaints and two of them to management it was fixed. The $25.00 daily fee is a rip off and opportunity to make money out of the guest eg the photo shoot offer. The $100.00 club room fee is also a rip off Scramble eggs were served eight days out of ten. The wine is free and undrinkable. On our last day at 5.30pm I attempted to get into the infinity pool the sun was still up . I wanted to have my last sunset floating on the floating devices I had paid for with my $25.00 fee. Other guests were already in the pool doing just that. The Sub-Contracted pool attendant was in the process of closing up for the day! Closing time is 6pm, after a humiliating argument in the pool which disturbed not only me but the other guests I was denied the right to float and watch the sunset . One guest took pity on me and gave me his float, it ruined my last day in Hawaii. Sub contractors do not give a hoot about hotel guests. Even after I told him I intended on making a complaint he just shrugged his shoulders. When I went to complain to management they told me they were too busy to speak to me and would get back they never did get back to me. We had to return to them to make a formal complaint. There are too many guests and not enough facilities, any one can walk in off the beach and there is no security. The food was less than ordinary. I have travelled extensively and have never complained in my life in any establishment. They are cutting costs and not looking after the guests. I would never recommend the Sheraton Waikiki.

Was turned off by the fact that the bed wasn't the usual Sheraton standard. Amenities was bare minimum. Rooms needs to be upgraded & it's quite old

We stayed at this hotel for our honeymoon. It is in the perfect location in waikiki, hotel amenities are great (restaurants, pool, etc), unfortunately on arrival we were given two single beds rather than a king and especially being our honeymoon we were not impressed, the first impression on staff was not good as no-one was too interested in trying to find us a room with a queen/king bed... however after teh 2nd day we did find some more helpful staff. Overall good stay after the single bed issue had been resolved.

This was an incredible stay......our only complaint is the price of the meals. We enjoyed the free breakfast with the purchase of our stay.....but all in all you need to mortgage your home to eat for a week.

It was a family trip including minor. At the first night, needed more towels after playing at the beach. I called a guest service, but room phone was out of order. I went to a floor lobby and requested it. Waited for half an hour and called them again, and waited another half an hour and called them. They kept saying will get it for me. After waiting over one hour, I went down to the reception desk and claimed it. In addition, requested room phone change. The manager was simply rude. He said technician is working other room, and therefore, I don't know when he can visit your room. He did say such as "we will come see your room as soon as possible"..Room was normal. Next room was occupied by a smoker and she kept smoking in balcony, and therefore, I couldn't open the window at all.

This hotel is located on one of the best spots in Waikiki. But you don't have to go to Waikiki for the beaches because you are like sardines in a can. All the hotels are huge. The rooms in the Sheraton need urgently a renovation because it's getting old. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast is good but not waw ! The swimmingpool is fantastic especially if you have kids. Overall : a nice hotel but a little bit too expensive for what you get !

I have never met so many rude people. Starting from first seconds stuff was very unwelcoming, rude on the phone and treated us like we were making them a favor by staying at the hotel. Very dissapointed((

All employees of this hotel were so very helpful and friendly. They were all willing to assist my wife and I with any helpful answers and suggestions as we had never been to Hawaii before. Its was close to everything so we were able to walk and explore and eat close by which helped a great deal because we did not rent a car. if we do plan another trip this is where we would love to stay again. We had an oceanview on the third floor and it was such a beautiful view.

Love this location and the infinity pool is so relaxing. We enjoyed the view from the pool and the sunset. The room is average but there were some problems with the hair dryer its old & broken and I had to hold the button up the whole time I was trying to blow dry my hair. The hotel bathroom needs some updating with the amenities.

Room was fine, no chairs tho..why benches? Beds super comfy & lots of pillows! View not too shabby for "partial ocean". Disappointed that all of Hotel not AC'd- elevators & hallways like a sauna! Could use some updating in Bathrooms & rather have body wash than bar soap. Had to buy soap. Not enough coffee supplies...thank goodness for the mini-fridge. Pool staff, The Edge Staff & RumFire staff were Awesome!!!! We thought pool should be open later that 6pm. Room service food was good, but expensive. Ingredients was way overpriced for the amount of food you get as well. The housekeeping staff was very helpful & extremely nice. I'd stay here again with a few tweaks here & there it would be an excellent stay for the price. Our room reservation was wrong... but they fixed & upgraded slightly for the mistake ( would've been even better with full ocean view).

This was the perfect hotel for our honeymoon. The location litteraly can't get any better, nor could the view from our ocean front balcony. The hotel staff didn't do anything special to celebrate the fact that we were on our honeymoon, but the hotel location and amenities were enough for us. The hotel concierge really did a good job of advising and booking the perfect amount of tours and activities to keep us busy, but not too much during our stay. Only advice I could give would be to look for an all inclusive or at least breakfast included package deal, beacause the food in the resort can get quite expensive.

Breakfast was expensive if you didnt pay for the discounted tickets [...]. The room upgrade was good for the wife and I, but didnt look much different than the kids. Shopping along the strip and staying out after dark was good. We saw mimes doing their thing, but I think the best part was the musical duo of the girls with the guitar and violin. They were great and played for tips. The many shops along the way with a short trip to the mall was reasonably priced. Took the submarine tour, be military or retired to get the discount or it is over priced. Loved the different cultural demonstrations just outside the hotel. You can walk anywhere and enjoy. Would like to take the hiking trip, but just didnt have enough time. Had to spend a day at the pool. Many opportunities for family time and alone time. Will stay there again.

Nice hotel from the outside but the room was just ok because of the not nice bathroom. It s a very busy hotel so the beautiful infinity pool was overcrowed all the time which makes it a little dirty .The situation was great for shopping, walking around and enjoying the beach! Food at the hotel restaurants was delicious!!!We will go back only if we get a really good deal.

Some pros of the Sheraton Waikiki - lots of fast elevators, very friendly & helpful staff (one hotel employee refused a cash tip saying he was here to help), and the location is great for beach access and shopping/dining. Some of the cons - both pools seemed smaller than advertised, pool area chairs fill up fast, lots of Japanese tourists.

This hotel was great! I did a lot of online research before we booked. So glad we chose the Sheraton. The veiws are some of the best on Waikiki beach. You will never be bored for sure.World class shopping and activities all within walking distance. Anything that is not you can get transportation to,usually for free! WE did a few tours but finally decidied to just Hang out at the hotel. Just so beautiful and relaxing. Would stay here again!

The hotel is in the perfect location, right in the middle of waikki beach. The amenities are awesome, and the staff is more than helpful. When staff found out it was our honeymoon, they upgraded us to an ocean view room. They also gave us a bottle of champagne. The only down side if any, is that the rooms aren'tuch to look at, but that disnt really matter because take a step onto the lani and you will have all the view you need! Overall we enjoyed ourselves. The Cleveland's

The location of the Sheraton Waikiki is unbeatable. Most of the other hotels are not on the oceanfront. This was our first trip to Hawaii and we had a great time.
