This was my first time to stay here and it was all that you would expect from a high quality hotel. Good service, friendly staff and good food. I found no fault with this hotel at all. Great also that it is connected to the best shopping mall in Surabaya makes the visit even better.

We booked a triple room for 3 of us. But when we checked-in, the staff told us that although we booked a triple room, the room is for double occupant, so we were given complimentary breakfast for 2 only! And she gave us a room with 1 King bed! We had to request for twin beds. Even though our confirmation letter indicated the price includes breakfast for 3 pax, the staff just refused to give us the third breakfast. We were so pissed that we refused to have breakfast throughout our stay. Our room was relatively good, except the tap at the sink was leaking. The housekeeping staff also did not wipe it dry when cleaning up our room as well. Other than that, the location is excellent since its right next to a huge mall. Even though it rained throughout our stay there, we managed to stay dry due to the connection to the mall.

The location of the hotel is superb, the tunjungan plaza is interconected to the hotel.The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful.The room given was very clean.The breakfast buffet was great with variety of local food and international choices.The swimming pool was a bit dark in the evening.More lighting is needed.Overall I enjoyed the stay in Sheraton which i may choose again if travelling to surabaya again.
