Embora a localização não seja das melhores, a posição privilegiada em frente ao mar compensa.

Located between the Sao Conrado and Leblon Beach, the hotel has a small beach in front of it. Probably the only REAL beach front hotel, you don't have to cross the street to go to the beach! Every room has ocean view, half have city view of Leblon and Ipanema. There are over 5 computers with free internet in the lobby. Breakfast buffet very good.

Many of the rooms need refurbishment. Check-in and check-out needs by far too long. Location is unique (positive), but who wants to use Ipanema or Copacabana beach has to take a taxi (negative). Own beach small but beautiful with great view on Ipanema/Leblon. Club floor Level on the low flows - higher floors (non club) have better view (Deluxe Rooms). Breakfast now worse than last year (quality is less), but still good if in package price included. Hotel old, but still recommendable.

The hotel suffers from poor service, old and outdated facilities and a veiw of the slums. The food, service and prices in the restaurants were poor.
