AMENITIES: The outdoor swimming pool is nice. It also has a decent gym. SERVICE: The receptionist had a very heavy accent and incomprehensible. We weren't able to communicate clearly with him and he put us in a room with two double-beds instead of a king size, which made us go back to the lobby with all our luggage. ROOMS: The rooms don't have mini fridges, so if you're bringing a bottle of champagne (to celebrate anniversary, etc.) you're out of luck. The pillows are too puffy and if you're used to sleeping on a smaller pillow, you're not gonna get any sleep on these giant balls. The air in the rooms is very dry, you wake up with a dry throat/eyes. I called the room service and they did not provide any humidifier nor willing to slide open the windows for us. Also there is no HBO. TVs suck—you can't even change the brightness of the TV and they are on the brightest settings hurting your eyes. FOOD: The breakfast is overpriced. You can drive 15 mins to nearby iHop and spend half of what the hotel charges. The display and atmosphere in the breakfast area is very gloomy and breakfast items/food is not presented well. BAR: The barman is the nicest guy. You must visit the Cosmopolitan Lounge and have a drink. In short, my wife and I were disappointed on our weekend getaway. Next time I try a getaway with my wife, I'm going to try another hotel for sure.
