Location
Only minutes from the Kapalua airport in one direction and Lahaina in the other, Sheraton Maui Resort is centrally located for maximum enjoyment.
Rooms
The Sheraton Maui Resort and Spa has 502 guest rooms and suites, all decorated with the craftsmanship of old Hawaii. The pinnacle of the resort is the Ali'i Suite, atop Pu'u Keka'a, with views all around. All rooms include flat screen TV, refrigerators, internet and daily maid service.
Restaurant
Dining options are rich and varied at the Sheraton Maui Resort and include both casual and formal atmospheres. For an authentic Polynesian experience, the Sheraton's Luau is held right on the beachfront.

Swimming was never more luxurious than in the Sheraton Maui's swimming lagoon that wanders through tropical gardens, changing in depth from one foot at the Keiki's pool to eight feet in the lagoon. The Spa at Black Rock provides full service treatments for a truly authentic tropical spa experience.

We love the overall Maui experience, the hotel was in a great location, with beautiful grounds, we expected a little more luxury from the rooms and a warmer welcome but overall the beauty of the area and the grounds made it a great trip. Staff was good, but no overly friendly, it often felt as if we were making them work extra hard when it was close to the end of the buffet time or Late check in.. Valets and beach staff were great though. The main thing is this: if you go to this hotel and Lahaina area, make sure you plan on getting up early and visit Thai amazingly beautiful island. Do not expect any evening or nightlife after 9pm, it is a ghost town as everyone is in bed, ready to get up early for the next adventure day! Hotel was good, grounds were beautiful, staff was sort of hot and cold depending on who you deal with, but mostly good. Everything is ridiculously expensive, like a $19 burger at the pool restaurant so stock up on basics at the grocery store. Despite some of the light complaints above, we love it because the laid back beauty of the area, the hotel grounds and the breezy comfort made it really really pleasant to get up and love the day in a beautiful setting. Would we go back? Yes. Would we plan our schedule differently? Yes. Get up early, go to bed early. Did we love it? Yes. Expensive but we loved it.

Loved the resort. Beautiful location. We saw turtles at Black Rock every morning! Great for snorklers and those who wish to view them from the shore. Would definitely stay here again! Keep up the great work!

Best hotel on Kaanapali Beach!! We had such a wonderful time. Great for families or just couples. Beautiful sums it up!

Was forced to pay hundreds more during checkin to have the king sized bed I requested when I made the reservation. I was embarrassed and felt taken advantage of the second I entered the property! Imagine trying to have a romantic hawaiin vacation and being told you can't share a bed, without paying hundreds more, THAT YOU RESERVED WHEN YOU BOOKED! Bad business, they only want to rip you off!

rooms are good, nice hotel but the pool is not heated and is freezing. Literally no one is in the pool this week. Very disappointing. Some construction noise heard in the rooms. Other than that nice hotel in a great location near lots. But if you want to swim in the pool I'd avoid this hotel unless it's 90 outside.
