I spend about 150 nights in hotels every year. This was well worth the money. The room was comfortable, the staff was excellent and the views were spectacular. I used the gym every day. It was more than adequate. The spa was very nice and relaxing. The food was very good at all of the restaurants. I would definitely return on my next trip to Tenerife!

Service experienced not as expected for a 5* hotel. Not enough entertainment either.

My friend and I have recently returned from a 5 night stay at the Sheraton La Caleta. Overall we found the hotel to be of superior quality as it offers everything you may want from a luxurious hotel. Generally customer service was good, restaurant & bar staff were excellent but we did have to complain about our room, as upon arrival as we were allocated a smoking room instead of a non smoking room. In addition housekeeping could be improved as when we finally got our room we did not have bathrobes,towels etc. The hotels location is ideal and the landscape gardens surrounding the pool provide an ambience which is typical of hotels found in long haul destinations. If you want a quiet relaxing break this hotel is definitely for you!! There is little in the way of entertainment, so maybe not ideal for families but if you do want to go in search of nightlife playa is only 10ms away in a taxi. Despite the intial teething problems,I would definitely recommend this hotel!
