The location is great, walking distance from lots of things you have to visit in NYC. I got a free upgrade (I'm a Starwood Gold member), but the room wasn't that good. It was only OK. I felt that without the upgrade I think I'd had received an old room. Room service was really expensive and not very good. In general, I'd have preferred to get a cheaper hotel nearby. If you can't find anything cheaper that's as good located as this one, you might want to consider the Sheraton. In other case, I'd only recommend it if you're a platinum/gold member and can get the free upgrade, which will give you a good deal for your money.

We arrived early but room was ready anyway. The location put us just 10 block from Time Square and our theater. One word of warning, the refrigerator records any movement of the products they place inside. Making room for somethig you bring back to the room creates a charge. Ask for a refrigerator,they are free.

We upgraded to a Club Level room on the 46th floor. It was small, but we were hardly in the room so it worked. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff in the Club Room were super friendly and the complimentary food was great! We were pleasantly surprised by how friendly everyone was considering the reputation that New Yorkers have for being rude. We would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to stay there as the location is great! It's just a few blocks from Times Square, Rockefeller Center, Radio City Hall, etc. so walking around the area was no problem at all! Hope to visit again soon!
