Not necessarily impressed. Seemingly more of the unsafe side of town, but did not see anything closer to where I needed to be for a decent price. Should advertise amenities/local area attractions. Average stay.

The hotel was a short walk from the subway and close to all the Washington sights. The room and service was great. Would highly recommend the Crystal City Shearaton to those wanting to visit the DC sights.

We wanted to stay near the airport due to our flight schedules.... so the great things about this hotel - 5 minutes from Washington National Airport, free shuttle van to/from airport, across the street from the Crystal City Metro stop, the staff from front desk to shuttle driver are very friendly and customer service oriented. The minor challenges of the hotel is it is a bit older, but well maintained. Our room was on the 3rd floor front, so our windows began about half way up the wall - a bit like staying in a basement.
