Location
Located in the heart of the city, the Shangri-la Hotel is in the Jinjiang District of Chengdu. Overlooking the beautiful Hejiang Pavilion, this hotel is 20 minutes drive from the Shuangliu International Airport and 45 minutes from the Qing Cheng Mountain.

Shangri-La Hotel Chengdu Guest Reviews
This is a Shangri-La hotel, and as such is pretty good, and being in Chengdu it is priced at a reasonable rate, and so why rough it? The rooms are comfortable, clean and the bed soooo comfortable. All of the services are smooth and efficient and it is a little oasis of calm for the weary traveller.

I stay at this hotel every time I travel to Chengdu on business. So convenient and they make me feel very welcome.

Great hotel, great facilities, great service. But I spent 4 hours trying to catch a taxi from the city back out to the hotel and ended up walking all the way back to the hotel.....and it's a long way on foot.

This is a beautiful new hotel. Good staff, excellent facilities. For those of you who like swimming, please note that there is a sensibly shaped 25m pool. But, and this is a big but.....when I was there the internet connection was so slow as to be absolutely useless. The hotel staff tried to fob me off with the explanation that it was a problem with (all) the websites I was trying to visit, but I gathered from their conversation that it was actually a problem with their ISP. For this price you might expect (i) a functioning internet connection and (ii) not to be lied to.

A fantastic hotel. We stayed in an executive room with the stay 2 nights get 1 free offer. Excellent value. Room was huge with a great view. Unfortunately the swimming pool was closed for renovation but all other facilities were of a very high standard.
