Location
Shangri-La's Resort in Mactan is four kilometres to the airport. From Mactan, holidaymakers can island-hop to other attractions like Olango Island Wildlife Sanctuary and Talima Marine Sanctuary.

Shangri-La's Mactan Resort & Spa Guest Reviews
Service was friendly and helpful notwithstanding the hotel was fully booked that day. We were upgraded from Superior to Premier. There was no charge for internet access nor the extra bed nor the New Year's countdown party. But the rate was 470+ that day. The kids brought leftover bread from breakfast and headed to the beach to feed the birds and fish. There was one fish with a remora, it truly made their day.

Excellent diving school. Good restaurants with plenty of variety. Would certainly recommend.

Very friendly and responsive staff. The hotel was extra crowded when we checked in so the breakfast queues and waiting time was quite long. They made available a second restaurant so that the breakfast queues were more manageable on the second day of our trip. The hourly shuttle service to & from the hotel to the city was also quite helpful and convenient.

Its quite simply a great resort hotel with a private beach. My wife have stayed in many of the Shangri La hotels and whilst this is an older type many rooms are now renovated and the high standards maintained. A problem occurred when we agreed to pay an upgrade to Horizon level and to our pleasant surprise the additional charge on the last day was waived. The room rate is quite high and especially annoying when locals are quoted a rate of US$80!

The Shangri La Hotel Resort in Cebu is to expensive. On my vacation the hotel complex under renovation. The personal are friendly, the rooms and the hotel area real clean. Only for the renovation beginning early in the morning with the work. This is for hotel in the class not o.k.
