Location
Shangri-La Rasa Ria is situated in a 400-acre lush tropical setting in the north-western part of Sabah. The property provides private airport transfers to/from Kota Kinabalu International Airport.

Stayed for a week in November 2011 whilst renovations were in full swing so some facilities were not available, however the staff were all friendly and the only hiccup was the air conditioner didn't feel as cool as it could have been. Have seen the resort before in 2009 and would stay again when the reno's have finished

Excellent location on jungle, beach doesn't tend to be used but very large pool facilities. Service was very high quality and friendly

I have used hotel shuttle to downtowntwice, and going is OK, but coming back is serious timing problem (too long) which you should definitely review. We waited at 1 Borneo for nothing for 20minutes. Also the frequency of the shuttle bus is not convenient. I think you should review as well.

The service has to be improved.. especially in the pool area. But otherwise, I will still recommend the hotel, it's beautiful and peaceful.
