Shangri-La Hotel Shenzhen Guest Reviews
When you consider the location is directly across from the the szx railway station, it's a good value for under $220 a night. If you pay more than that, you will be disappointed with the rooms and cleanliness. It's an older hotel.

Wow! this place is the place to stay in Shenzhen, More than what we expected, just a short walk to the big shopping area. Very close to Train station 5min walk don't take taxi, be careful crossing roads in Shenzhen cars don't stop even on zebra crossings(lol)

Please be sure to drink the complimentary water given by the hotel. The Evian water in the mini bar will cost you $5 USD or $45HKD per bottle! The concierge will tell you that complimentary water is in the mini bar! Don''t listen to them, they do not know anything. It will be a waste of time to talk to them. Yes, I would recommend this hotel to a friend.

For a Shangril-La, the hotel was not up to reputation. Room was small. I was travelling with my family, and I went to Shanghai, while my parents stay in Shenzen. Staff was not helpful when I return from Shanghai using the 10 PM flight. My parents said they could not open the room that I already reserved because I must be there in person, although my father said he will took over the room for me using his credit card. In fact they almost cancelled my reservation. Only after my father complained to the Manager did they let my father opened the room for me.
