The hotel property is amazing. Magnificent lobby, superb fitness center, spacious rooms, great location. The staff was less wonderful. They recommended a restaurant which was closed, and sent us off without an address or phone number. They suggested a musical at the nearby performing arts center...assuring us of the time. We got there and it was closed...another error. The concierge was consistently the weak part of this hotel. They repeatedly didn't provide reliable or trustworthy service. The fitness center is superb. Hot and cold Onsen (relaxation pools), sauna, steam room, 25M swimming pool, large exercise room with full selection of machines. Would not allow us to play badminton on the tennis court, but we just went to the large park across the street. We debated whether to stay here or at the newly owned Westin hotel and made the right choice. The Westin is great, but this hotel was classier and had better fitness facilities. Very likely this is the best hotel in Fuzhou.
