I found the staff very unaccommodating and also the price was very steep considering it was just for a room and no meals were included in the price

Excellent accomodations and their service in the executive floor (plus the daily breakfast buffet) was very good. The staff is very helpful and courteous. I will definitely stay in this hotel again when I return to Beijing.

A good hotel with typical Shangri-la style and standard. It's a bit on the expensive side for the price (food and drinks too). Location is great for visiting many universities and research institutes in Beijing. The outdoor garden is fantastic for functions. Staff are well trained.

The hotel was a little bit out of the way from the main attractions so it makes it expensive to get around Beijing. The hotel room was spacious and well equipped. One of the hotel''s assistant managers, Bob, was especially helpful and even sent up a bottle of Great Wall wine and a few beers! Thanks!
