Shakespeare Hotel London Guest Reviews
This was a really cheap hotel so we did not know what to expect. 2 minutes walk from Paddington station, Ideal.... Friendly staff and we found the breakfast enough for us.. Cereal, toast, boiled eggs and juice, tea and coffee.. what more do you need! Only draw back was No lift, if you have a lot of heavy luggage, it could be a drawback. ideal for backpackers. This modest Paddington hotel is in a very convenient location. I found staff helpful. The single room was small, but clean.

The location of the hotel is ideal and the price very resonable. The breakfast, however, is bad (or worse), but nice breakfast can be bought in the very neighbourhood.

I booked a double for single use and got a 2 X 2.5 metre room above a railway line, Still I slept OK but there is no lift and it is a basic hotel.

I found this hotel dingy, shower and toilets dirty, not even a drinking glass in the room. quite noisy in our ground floor room from subway trains. I would rate the hotel about one step up from a backpackers!
