If you can live with these restrictions (or maybe, in the case of the sunbathing, blessings), Praslin Islandoffers all the perks you’d expect from a tropical paradise – from primo snorkelling off Anse Lazio beach to coco-de-mer trees and cocktail waiters as gorgeous as any of the natural surrounds. You’ll find the freshest seafood at Coco Rougeand mouthwatering traditional Creole eats at Tante Mimi. Praslin Island might be a little backwards in some ways, but it’s hard to be too critical of anything this beautiful.
