Location
Hotel Sempione is located in the historical centre of Florence, just 100 meters far from Santa Maria Novella train station, the Congress Palace, Fortezza da Basso (main exhibitions centre) and just a few steps from the cathedral and the most important Florentine museums and churches.
Rooms
Rooms are furnished in the classical style with parquet floor or Florentine "cotto", are all soundproofed and equipped with modern facilities that make your stay enjoyable.
Restaurant
A rich and delicious buffet breakfast is served in the pretty breakfast room or in the covered terrace on the first floor. Guests can also take advantage of the bar service.

Great location (near station , restaurants and markets); incredibly small but well appointed room (had to put our luggage in front of door); very quiet (well soundproofed), large bathroom, friendly staff. Expensive for what you get but that is Florence!

I would definitely stay at this hotel again. It was in a good location - close to the station and the historical centre. The room was spacious and clean. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was standard but adequate.

This hotel is okay, generally in good location with spacious room and shower facility. The room even has Sky installed with BBC, Eurosports and Skysports available! I'd say that its definitely a good choice I made!

Lovely hotel. Excellent location, right in the centre of Florence. Very friendly staff, female receptionist especially helpful and spoke good english. Small but clean bedroom and bathroom with very good shower. Would stay here again and recommend it for anyone wanting a central base in Florence.
