I showed up on time and there was not attendant at the front desk to greet me or check me in. I waited for 50 minutes before she arrived.

A good location is about all I can say. The 'lowest price' from a travel website was not the lowest price. People checking in off the street were able to do so more cheaply than having a reservation. The wireless internet was only working 'on one side' of the hotel, no accommodations were made for folks on the other side. The ice machine was out of order; towels were taken out during the 'cleaning' of the room, but were not replaced and the front desk, after the cleaning staff left, did not have any to replace them with. The room itself was a disaster. The carpet looked about 50 years old and was worn everywhere. The bathroom was falling apart. The lampshades were all crooked. Thankfully the TV worked. The a/c was intermittent. The hotel allows pets; my pet found, under the broken drawer/entertainment center unit, a rock hard moldy doughnut and some cheetos. Under the a/c unit were two empty bottles. The sheets did not fit the bed, the comforter was full of cigarette holes (this was a non-smoking room), the pillows had mis-matched pillow cases...need I go on? Even though they were advertising rooms at $39.99 a night, I booked the room through the travel website 'lowest price guarantee' at $54.99 a night and they wouldn't let me change the reservation. The rooms were not even worth $39.99 a night. The best thing that can be said about the hotel is the location, which was great for what I needed.
