Room was sleepable, but star rating was more 2 than 3. Hotel seems old and probably that is why it didn't feel so good.

Please heed my warning: this is an extraordinarily poorly kept hotel with indifferent to hostile staff that one should avoid if at all possible. After I got over the fact that I would be spending the night in this gritty, dirty hotel, I realized that their was NO WATER IN MY ROOM--or the entire hotel for that matter. Long story short, after many. many hours of hearing the staff say that it would be fixed "soon" I had to book at another hotel, as not being able to use a toilette or a shower is, not surprisingly, a deal breaker for me. Incredibly, this hotel REFUSED TO REFUND MY ROOM CHARGE and became aggressive and hostile about the situation. I have never, in all my years of intensive travel, ever experienced such an unethical hotel business. Bottom line: this is an unkempt hotel that hasn't been renovated in decades whose staff has no interest in providing the bare minimum of standard hotel courtesy and responsibility.

I gave this hotel a chance since it was featured as a special deal and seemed like a good location. Everything about this hotel was run down. TV not working properly, toilet seat broken, shower dirty, walls, doors, furniture in disrepair.

Here, it is an average hotel... but the rooms are alot cleaner than most and the location is unbeatable. You are right down the street from the famous Las Olas Blvd strip and can walk with a nice crowd nightly or daily. Right across the street from the beach and if your lucky enough to get a balcony room close to the front, you will see the beach very nicely. Your next a really big time hotel on one side, which can feel pretty good for the fraction of the price you paid to be in the same location. All and all- worth the value in every penny.

The location was perfect - first room was horrible - smelled bad, lights didn't work -gave me another room - much better - but hotel a little "shabby" and out of date - tv remote didn't work, only got a few channels - but staff very nice and accomendating and the location was perfect - if you just want a place to sleep - not a bad place to stay for the money.

This hotel was great for someone that only needed a place to leave some bags and get some shut eye. The beach is literally arcoss the street and it is just a couple minutes walk from many fine restaurants. "The Deck" is the eatery at the hotel, I would not recommend much here, but the price was much lower than the rest. Easy to get in and out of the hotel, parking was great. If you are in town for an event that will keep you busy during the waking hours then you can't beat the price and location. If you need to spend time in the room waiting or if you get sick, you don't want to stay here, the room was very stuffy, old fixtures with lots of rust, I would not sleep under the sheets, but it was 80 out most of the time so I wasn't cold. The AC in the room was loud, but did keep the room cooler and more fresh then when it was off. All in all I would recommend this hotel to the budget conscious with something to do other than hang out in the room.

Don't bother it is a dive from the fifties, I could not wait to leave the lobby and gps another hotel...no matter how far I had to drive. Hookers in the hall ways and drunken kids staggering out of rooms. We did not stay after seeing the lobby.

staff was horrible and rude, especially at the restaurant. i went here with 2 friends for a cheap, quick getaway. needless to say I will not be staying here ever again. The location and the price were great, but it was not worth the way we were treated. The rooms are musky, and old. Needs a total renovation.

Don't bet on the SeaClub Resort unless you are absolutely desperate. The place is dive! I am surprised the Florida Health Dept., has not shut these guys down.

Most things were a surprise: Worn out towels and blanket. Long black hairs in the bath tub. A mandatory $2 charge for a locking safe in your room. A $50 "damage charge" upon checking in that was reverse charged upon checking out. Don't tell my wife I stayed here.

I'm glad that this hotel is offering such a reasonable price in Fort Lauderdale for the location.. Nothing special about the hotel, which is dwarfed by neighboring Hilton and W, but enjoyable for a short stay nonetheless. I also had the pleasure of eating at the restaurant by a friend's suggestion. Great food, good prices. I will stay again.

This place has character - think back to the 70s. THe rooms are clean, the staff helpful, the bed was lumpy but it worked. You're right on the beach. I mean, really, what else do you need. You won't write home about the hotel, but if you're not there to spend all your time in it who cares?

My partner and I checked in & immediately dealth with smell & very stained hallway carpets. Hallways smelled. old & dirty. As I open my room door on 7th floor. stepped in and carpet was wet. As I laid bag on bed the comforter was wet, Bathroom shower had mold in corner. Draps were coming off hardware. hooks were broken off. My partners room had dirt hanging from ceiling in his bathroom. Desk manager (Linda) would not refund our charge.

The Maid Ms. Williemae was the best thing the hotel had to offer IT'S A DUMP. WON'T RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE. This facility needs a mayor overhaul if it's to service the travel industry. As a member of the industry I would demolish it and start from scratch. would not be surprised if a reputable inspector would not have it inspected for bedbugs and cleanliness. Rugs, walls, general appearance need a mayor up-lifting....Jorge

This is an older property but that does not necessarily mean it has to be bad. What makes this property less desirable, in my opinion, is that it has not been well maintained. In fact, it is "run-down". The carpet looked old and dirty. The bathroom was awful. I would not go back to this facility.

The first night i arrived the place smell like a dump i asked the young man behin the desk why does this place smell so bad? his answer was the owner refused to do any repairs,so he sent me to my roome which was a filty hot roome all the way to the back of that place thay call a hotel.I went back to the front desk and demanded my refunds for the two nights and was told I could not get any refound because it was done though the airlines. It was 12 midnight so my family had left for the night,Iwas given a new roome which was a little better ,I stayed up all night afraid of bed bugs and left the next day and stayed at another hotel with a friend so I hope that you will look into it and refound me my money. They know i was going to report it to some one because i made it clear.Four others came and left the same night if i had a car i too would of left it was not the money it is the dirty place that needs to be closed..
