Well maintained hotel with all rooms overlooking the water and walking distance to town. Food in hotel a little expensive however several eateries close by. Overall a pleasant stay and would recommend.

Stayed here for 2 nights in a quiet, good sized, clean room with lovely sea views. Owner very friendly and helpful. Would recommend this hotel to those wanting to be on the edge of town but still close to all amenities.

A nicey laid out, cool and comfortable room with most of the expected facilities. Also a great view, plenty of car parking all the time we were there. Most importantly all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Top marks! They were excellent. Not so impressed with some of the prices...a "continental" breakfast of two slices of toast and a coffee cost $20! Meal prices were steep in general, so we ate out every night. Minor room annoyances including a loo that wouldn't stop flushing (until you pressed both flushe buttons together) and a slightly tempremental bathroom faucet were noted and passed on. I'd certainly be tempted to revisit ... as long as I could get another reasonable discount on the deal.

This is a great hotel located on the waterfront of Napier. All rooms have magnificent views of the ocean. Staff are friendly and the hotel truly lives up to its four and a half star rating awarded by Qualmark New Zealand. Napier is the art deco capital of New Zealand with warm summers and mild winters. If you want and enjoyable stay in Napier then I truly recommend the Scienic Circle Te Pania in Napier.
