Rooms are comfortable and staff friendly. One of the most compelling points for rating a 5 for staff was how they were always ready. The chamber ladies always wore a smile and the first to great good morning or merry Xmas. This level of welcome may not be felt even at costlier establishments. The front office are also alert to always volunteer to fetch guests out to the main road and yet friendly to chit chat a length with the guests. The only grouse I have is room design, the fact that the main door opens to the basin which is outside the bathroom. But then this is not a 5 star hotel, so I'm nit-picking. The location is also great- for those who party and looking for some after hours programmes, it is really only a 10-15 mins walk away to the infamous Nana, yet the hotel is still quietly parked along soi 8 that it is not rowdy and never sleazy. With Nana station just at the main road, access to the heart of shopping at Siam station or Mo Chit for Chactuchak is great. Did I mention that I took the airport express train to alight at a station name that escapes me now and transferred to the BTS station for Nana. If you're heading to Chinatown, taking the BTS for one stop to Asok station and changing to Hua Lamphong will bring you to Chinatown area. It is really quite value for money.
