staff were friendly and helpfull, the room was ok, but the carpets were stained and didn't look clean, the plumbing in the bathroom was poor, the water had a bad smell about it, I don't know if it is a problem with the hotels plumbing or the water supply in Naples

This hotel is clean, modern and has large, nicely decorated rooms. While the locaiton was good for access to the train station and trips to Amalfi, Pompeii etc, Piazza Garibaldi on which it is located is not very pleasant. This is a very run down and scary part of Naples at night.
