The Mount Herbert no longer exists now called the Sandymount Hotel! I wish I knew that - would have helped! I suggest you update your site for all other would-be customers! I would say it was approx 15/20 walk so I left my conference early as I do not like walking in Dublin in the dark - receiption advised me not to take the canal walk - too dangerous but the Serpentine Road walk was ok! Just one further comment on this hotel. I decided to have my evening meal - for convenience! The service and presenttion of food was appauling! The menu limited! I did enjoy my bowl of soup and delicious brown bread at lunch time as I was rather pecky from my walk around trying to locate the Mount Herbert!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Reception staff helpful, though busy. Bedroom large and well appointed. Food fine. No residents bar.

Excellent location, good service and great value. Only one slight point for some reason there are no 'Do Not Disturb' signs in the rooms.

The customer service was good, the room was large and nice and breakfast is nice also. But there are only 2 people's toiletries even if we were 3 people. The location is not very convenient as we have to use a taxi from airport, nice surrounding area, though.

When we arrived at the hotel, I thought if looked a bit dated and in need of a coat of paint and maybe some new curtains. But when we went inside , i thought it was very nice and cosy and inside looked much nicer and modern. The lounge was very nice, the internet access was excellent and the diningroom was nice. Our bedroom(no.288) was sufficent-nothing special about it but it had what we needed. I thought it was a bit small and felt a bit cramped, but it was just an overnight and so it was ok.
