Location
Close to the expansive Stanley Park, a great place to spend a leisurely afternoon, and also the beach, the Sandman Suites on Davie make it easy for you to get out and enjoy all of the nature that Vancouver is known for.
Rooms
All of the 198 guestrooms have a hairdryer, iron, refrigerator, and iron for your comfort and convenience. There are kitchen supplies for you to be able to make your own meals. All of the accommodations have a balcony, some with breathtaking ocean views.
Restaurant
Although there is no restaurant available on the premises, Vancouver is world-famous for its impressive array of international cuisine, and many of the city's best restaurants are a short distance from the hotel.

Sandman Suites On Davie Vancouver Hotel Guest Reviews
The staff were very friendly and helpful and offered service without the asking. It is an older hotel obviously, so it would take a considerable amount of money to upgrade the heating and air conditioning, but the rooms have full kitchens with separate sleeping areas. The beds are overdue for an upgrade to something more comfortable, but again, that is another expense. The thing they do have control over is the cleanliness, and the rooms are overdue for a thorough cleaning. The repair to detail would just be icing on the cake if they could just deep cleanse the rooms and give them that shine and fresh smell that guests look forward to.

Location of this hotel is good -right on Davie Street. It can be a little noisy on the street but that is expected. Staff are helpful and friendly. Ocean view rooms have a great view over the bay. Our room had was spacious and had good facilities. I would stay here again if the price was good.

Other than the below average cleaneliness sides housekeeping (some days no vacuuming, other days no toiletpaper, other days bathroom obviously not cleaned except for change of towels, reported the mildewed blindes in the bedroom, it was said:we take care of it immediately. Empty promise until our departure) the hotel is good.Well equipped fitness center (unfortunately not too well kept).Suites also equiped w/everything needed for a long stay.

The desk staff are very helpful and friendly. This is a very good place to stay if you like a clean, practical mini suite with self catering and own aoto wash-dry facility. A well equipped little kitchen includes dishwasher. Free internet in room works perfectly. Recommend this place in walking distance to Downtown shops, Stanley park and Skytrain station. Plenty of restaurants and cafes around, plus 24 hour foodmarket. 2 very small suggestions: a small sachet of detergent for the washing machine would be handy (luckily I had some - I wanted to put the washing on as soon as I arrived) also a clean/scouring pad or dishwash brush to clean pans and dishes with could be useful Al in all, a great location and nice place to stay, good value.
