Perched on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean, the Sandhouse Hotel overlooks miles of secluded coves and sandy beaches. This 19th century manor house enjoys one of Ireland's most picturesque locations with breathtaking views of Donegal Bay and Hills.

beautiful location overlooking the sea & sandy beach that goes on for miles.had an elegantly furnished room with a four poster bed, food was off a very high standard. would stay there again.

Excellent location and lovely hotel. Our room overlooked the sea and was close to Jacuzzi which we could use at any time. Rooms clean and comfortable however probably in need of some updating and if I wanted to nit pick the bathroom needed a facelift but was clean and towels changed. Our gripe was that the Spa only has 1 part-time worker and we were unable to book into it during our 2 day stay. Would have loved to have had some treatments but were unable to get in contact with anyone. Surely the Spa if advertised should have full-time cover?

Fabulous hotel in an idillic location. Ive been there three times and each time the service is out of this world. Very romantic, very beautiful - even though its on the beach I would recommend it at any time of year. Outstanding hotel
