Our stay at Sanctuary House proved to be one of the most comfortable, convenient and satisfying stays of our travels. Located about 100 metres from Westminster Abbey and Parliament House and 50 metres from St James's Park Tube Station, Sanctuary House is the perfect location for any visitors to London. The bedroom was more than adequate for our stay and the beds very comfortable, whilst all of the amenities were first-class. We found all of the staff to be courteous and willing to, promptly and efficiently, attend to any query that we had.

Fantastic location in the heart of everything. Very pleasant staff. We emailed some questions prior to arrival which were instantly responded to. Upon arrival the receptionist was friendly and helpful. Overall, a perfect location for a tourist tour of London.

Friendly staff, clean and quiet room on 4th floor. Good location. Breakfast was very good. Only down side was the stale smell of cigarette smoke in the room and especially the pillows. Perhaps this was a smoking room once but smell still there.

A bit expensive, but given that its London this is the best value you will find for this kind of quality accomodation. We will definitely consider staying here again. The place was recently removated so everything is new, clean and pleasent to stay it. Across the road is St. James underground and is a mere 20mins walk from Picadilly Circle.

Hi My wife and I had a very comfortable long weekend in London and used this hotel. The staff were very good and so was the room. The breakfast was simple, cheap and quite good. The pub under the hotel isn't a problem and it isn't very good. Luckily there a lots of other options within a 3 minute walk. The hotel is handy for the tube station (less than 100m), but the tube is St James Park and the connections to it aren't great. But, with some careful journey planning it never prooved to be a problem. A super little hotel in a smashing location for seeing London.

Very good location, close to St. James' Park Underground station. No fridge in our Superior room the first day but that was fixed within the next. Rather expensive Internet connection by our opinion, 3 GBP an hour. Nice pub downstairs. Friendly staff, we'll be back!

Arrived early at this lovely hotel, who stored our luggage while we used the pub situated at street level. We booked a Delux Room which although quite small had all usual amenities and overlooked the street. Staff very polite and friendly. This hotel is very close to several London tourist sites, Westminster, Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, The London Eye, plus River Cruises and only 300 metres to the Underground (St James Park) and buses 300 meters in the opposite direction. However this hotel is within easy walking distance of many other places. The Sanctuary pub was very clean and food was very good. We had a specialty pie and salad nicoise which were both excellent. Hotel again stored luggage after check out so we didn't waste any precious time. Would definatly stay here again.

Positives:Good location; Competetive price for London (thanks to hotelclub) Negatives:Creaky floors are very noisy; TV could only receive BBC1,2,ITV1 & Sky news; Staff allocated another guest who was checking in our room while we were still in it! (This mixup was quickly resolved however)
