perfect location for cortona excellent staff and facilities no restaurant attached however lots to chose from within 2min walk,would definitly stay again and strongly recommend as a hotel in this class.

Good location to access the town. Make it clear that, if arriving by car, you can go up the steep narrow street to unload the car. Thereafter, parking at the hotel is very limited and costs €20/night. There is a free public car park at the bottom of the hill but getting a space is a lottery. The restaurant next door Il Preludio is quite good but service is slow.

This was a very lovely hotel centrally located in the town with friendly staff. I would surely recommend it to anyone thinking of a stay in Cortona.

A perfect hotel in a perfect location. All was very good...I wouldn't think of staying anywhere else and will definetely recommend this hotel to anyone. The rooms are tastefully decorated, the history emminates from everywhere and the location in Cortona is perfect.

I had a lovely double room for single use with antique furniture and beamed ceilings. The bathroom was roomy, with the only negative aspect being the small size of the shower, which had barely enough elbow room for washing hair. The bathroom itself could have accomodated a larger one. Breakfast included the usual pastries, cereal, cold cuts, cheese, yogurt, as well as scrambled or boiled eggs. At the low season rate of 63 Euros per night, it was the best value for the money that I had on this trip, and a very pleasant place to stay. The location was convenient, a few steps off of the main plaza in Cortona. I wish I could have stayed longer.
