San Juan Park Hotel Guest Reviews
Great location close to "Old San Juan". Room was clean and comfortable, but a bit small, and there was only a "full size" bed, as advertized. (We had not paid for the optional upgrade to a king size bed.) Staff was very friendly and helpfull. Good choice if you want to just have somplace to sleep and spend your money on other things.

My husband and I felt safe at the hotel and around the area. There is a convenient bus stop just around the corner from the hotel, which for 50 cents exact change, brings you to Old San Juan. The bus will get you there in under 10 minutes, or you can walk to Old San Juan, which will take you about 30 minutes. A cab will be $12 from the hotel to Old San Juan. Continental breakfast is sufficient. The staff was helpful. Rudy provides the personality for the hotel and goes out of his way to bring a smile to all the guests, as he says, it is his job to make guests happy. The hotel was clean, however, there was one day that we returned to our room and found that the room had not been made up. The following day, it was clean but we weren't provided with certain necessities such as shampoo and toilet paper. Perhaps the regular cleaning woman was out sick or something. In that area, there is room for improvement. A free public beach is within 5 minutes walking distance from hotel, the beach was clean and safe. The Caribe Hilton is also nearby, and as per our travel books it is where the Pina Colada was invented. The pina coladas we had were outstanding, albeit for $10.50 each. The room was small, but it didn't bother us at all because we rather save the money than pay for a large room that we only use for sleeping. We recommend this hotel.

I was surprised on how friendly the staff was, great location. Small room but great comfort... I will stay there again..

It was a last minute booking on my part, but for the price it was perfect and clean. The staff are very congenial and kind. My room may have been a bit small, and I may not have had the greatest view, but, for the trade off, I was only steps away from the beach well let me add the plural beaches and restaurants were right over the bridge. For the price it served its purpose. It was clean, safe, with a good staff. There is no pool because well you have the ocean. Which by far is 1,000 times better than any pool. I was also near water activities if I chose to go boating or snorkling. So for the price again, ehh it was worth it.
