I would definitely recommend staying at the San Giuliano Hotel! Not only was the price very reasonable but i was more than satisfied with the service and the feel of the Hotel. The pleasantness and helpfullness of the staff makes it all the better especially since i sont speak a work of Italian! Since you visit Venice mostly for the sightseeing, San Giuliano is a perfect place to put your head down , freshen up and be on the road the next day! Mille Grazie San Giuliano!

After reading other reports on this hotel i was quite aprehensive about my visit. As i am an elderly but young at heart single traveler. The greeting and attention by reception was pleasant and warm . Room was cleaned, linen and towels changed every day. Facilities were all that was required for the price. My only gripe was that befor heading out for a heavy day of photography, the cotinental breakfast was poor, a roll, jam, juice, coffee. For an extra 15euro i could have had salami!! As it transpired i was on the local bus, (just around the corner from the hotel,) for the 15 min. Trip to venice, before 7pm, so missed most hotel breakfasts, i plan to stay there on my next trip.

One of the rooms smelt unpleasant. Breakfast could have been more exciting. Nice bathroom.

The hotel is only 10 minutes by bus to Venice. It is a simple hotel but the price cannot be beaten! It is also very clean and the staff is nice and smiling!
