Location
Almost opposite the railway station and the Chiesa di Santa Maria Novella, the San Giorgio is a good central choice. From here guests can visit the famous shopping streets of the Via Tornabuoni, Via del Parione, and Via Maggio, or simply sit and relax over a coffee in the Piazza della Signoria.

It's 5 minutes from the main train station. As Florence isn't a big city, the Duomo or Ponte Vecchio are all within walking distance. The double room was big and spacious, huge bathroom too. Breakfast selection wasn't ideal.
